A friend of mine has suggested we go see the National Atomic Testing Museum, and I was wondering why? It looks interesting, but I don't know if the kids will enjoy it. Is it worth checking out?
It is a few miles off the strip so you will have to drive out to see it. Not that much of a drive though. I have never been but I have some people in my social circle who have recommended it. It seems to get very good reviews but I don't see much from kids.
I have never been. I looked at some reviews though and even the bad reviews have positive spins on them. I would say to go for it. If this is something you find interesting. I think it would be a cool spot for kids from what I have seen.
I have only gone once and I can tell you that there were kids there when I went. There was actually a group of them and I am not sure if this was from a local school or not but there was a good 20 kids in a group together.
