Are there any areas in Vegas you would recommend staying clear of? Any dangerous locations you would recommend not going near or to? I figure I should ask, just in case.

In terms of specific locations, you want to avoid Mojave Desert. The reason behind this is that it has three venomous snakes that reside here and traveling through this area with little to no experience with the area can cost you.

Be careful if you are near Freemont street and venture out of the tourist areas. Also, avoid Maryland Parkway and Sahara area... it is the street about two to three blocks from the strip.
