If you have a car, do you do valet parking or regular parking? I always do valet parking. I feel like the cost isn't that much more compared to regular parking and it's so much safer. You always have someone in the area so the cars never go unattended.
We've actually never had a car there! We usually taxi/uber or we just stay around our hotel. I'm sure it probably depends on the parking costs at the individual hotel. I would probably stick to standard parking though.
The few times I have rented a car, I would either park it myself or walk. I never did valet parking as I couldn't justify the cost or felt it necessary for a rental car.
I had to valet park once and I didn't care for it. They ended up losing my car and I had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to figure out what they did. I think there was a new guy and he parked the cars in the wrong places. There was like a crowd of 10 people waiting.
