I hear the Shark Reef at the Mandalay bay Hotel is a great experience. Is that true? I saw images and I think they've shown this place in movies and on tv, and I want to experience it in real life more than anything. Is it currently open? Is it open year round?

The shark reef is open. So it is a good get-away if you are thinking of doing something other than gambling, restaurants, nightlife, etc. I saw alot of families there last time I went.
