I will be in Vegas for NYE... any good concerts that I can get as a last minute deal? I'm a fan of 90s alternative rock (ie 3 Doors Down, Incubus, etc.)

I went during a weekday evening and was able to get started within 15 minutes. I think it was a Tuesday. So weekends might be different.

Never stayed, but waited in the lobby once for a friend. The lobby was nice and seemed like a decent place if you didn't want to stay at a place with gaming.

There are many different random characters on LV Blvd. Does anyone take photos with them? I've seen Michael Jackson, Bumble Bee, etc.

Playing cards from the casino that were used on the gaming floor. My favorite deck is one from the Riveria.

Planet Hollywood is always my go to but I would also say Aria is nice also.
