I know some areas can get pretty cool at night so I am not sure what to pack for Vegas. I will be going in September. I don't want to not pack anything for cooler weather and regret it but I also don't want to take up space in my luggage if I don't have to.

In September it will still be in the 90s (F) at night. Shorts and cooler clothing is a must during the summer.

You do not have to worry about it being cold until December and even then, we see the weather in the low 70s at night. We will occasionally have cooler nights but they are rare in September. I would just pack light and bring a pair of pants in case.
