I will be going for the first time this year and I want to make sure my trip is packed full of fun and adventures. I don't want to remember it as being a back experience. I was meant to go in 2020 but we all know how things went last year, lol.

So do any regulars have any tips for me for my first trip to Las Vegas?

The best advice I can give you is to always have someone with you. It is a loud, busy, crowded place and even when people are all around you, you can easily get robbed without no one noticing. I had someone pull my wallet right out from my purse and no one even noticed the guy until I started screaming about it and he has already took off running. I don't think they ever caught him either.

Plan for a day of rest after you return home.  I always make the mistake of flying home on Sunday night and having to work the next morning.

Also, visit a CVS / Walgreens for water... it will be way cheaper than buying it at one of those stores in the casino

Thanks, Helen and Magic.

Yeah, I feel like it is safer to not go alone anywhere because of the area and making sure I don't work the next day, smart! I would not have thought about that. Thanks for the tip about the water as well.

If you visit in either the Spring or Fall, plan for sudden shifts in the weather and bring maybe a light jacket or hoodie.  Sometimes the weather can shift quickly and it will rain.  There is a monsoon season in Las Vegas

I would say to always make sure you have extra cash. I noticed that anytime I go and have a budget in mind, I end up overspending and having to put stuff on a credit card. So I would say to take what you want and bring an extra $200+ with you as "in case" money.
