What is the mask situation looking like in Las Vegas right now?
Do you need to use one if you are not vaccinated? Do they have everyone at all casinos wearing them? Is it optional? I can't seem to find any stern information on this. I keep seeing different things. I am vaccinated (both rounds) and no longer wear a mask anywhere around here, they don't make us. I am just not sure what the rules are in Vegas.
Most of the signs in the Casinos say if you are vaccinated then masks are optional. A good majority of people do not wear the mask because there is no one verifying the vaccination status. In some of the stores in the casino like the fashion and jewelry boutiques you have to wear a mask in the store and they only let so many people in the store at a time.
This weekend Los Angeles announced they were going back to the mask mandate so Las Vegas might soon follow.

As far as I know, it is optional in most places. The only places that will still require it are closed-off areas and smaller areas. There is no way to control everyone and have them wearing masks. I would say that if you had concerns, to just have one handy. They are allowed in all places still so you won't be asked to remove it.
Very few areas require them, most recommend them, no places really enforce it. Unless you go into a smaller shop, like mentioned a jeweler or something, you will likely just be treated as normal.
All of the casinos require masks again. They typically have a security guard check as guests come and go to their rooms
They brought them back, as mentioned above. Just no matter what they say or plan on doing in the coming 6 months, just plan to have masks on you. Just have some for your flight and some for walking around. We can't tell which direction this will head at this point.
I am not sure what to do right now. I had never been to Vegas but have a trip planned for next month and the more I read and hear about things down there, I am wondering if I should even bother right now. I mean if I do go, I will make sure to at least have a handful of reusable masks on me but I really don't want to have to wear those everywhere while on vacation...
