Is it true that working people in Las Vegas are ending up homeless?

I read a recent story that suggests this is an upward trend as most people's earnings are eaten up by rent or mortgage alone so they would rather be homeless and have money for food and other things. That sounds pretty bad!

This is the case for minimum-wage workers. I would not want to be living in Vegas earning only minimum wage. There it is $15 an hour but unless you are doing a room share or living with a partner who also works, you are looking at all your wages being eaten up by rent alone for sure.

I wouldn't be shocked. With the high cost of living and constant pressure of the strip, I know  a lot of people fall victim to the lifestyle.
