For someone who has a history of gambling abuse, is Las Vegas a safer place to go these days? I am not entirely sure myself about this. My sister wants to go but she doesn't want to go without her fiance, of whom has a gambling addiction problem. He has not gambled in almost 7 years now but I feel like Las Vegas might trigger it for him. She isn't sure either.
There is a lot to do in Vegas these days. While there are casinos just about everywhere, so are restaurants, comedy clubs, art facilities, shows, etc. so there is plenty to do. I would say he should have a plan where when he is not resting or sleeping, he is keeping busy with something.
This is a bit of a risk. On one hand, there are millions of things to do that do not involve gambling but gambling is EVERYWHERE. Maybe if they agree that if he is feeling too stressed or pressured, they will just pack and leave?
