Several people in my family and social circle have been told they can't get the vaccine due to allergies and other medical issues. My sister is prone to blood clots and was told it could kill her. Now I am worrying that if they mandate these vaccines, people who can't get vaccinated will miss out on social events. Do you think Vegas casinos and hotels will mandate vaccination?
If they're unable to get the vaccine, they probably shouldn't be going out, especially if they're high risk for covid. It's probably best they stay in if so. And, I don't think everyone needs to be vaccinated, just people who go out often enough.
Either way, I'm going to assume that some places will require some sort of vaccination. Or wearing of masks wherever you go.
New York City started this requirement and there has been alot of debate about fairness. I am not sure what will happen in Las Vegas but at the moment the only mandates are around wearing masks. Masks are required again in restaurants and casinos
Vegas gets a lot of people from outside the country who will not have proof of vaccination which is why I was wondering. It seems like a gray area. Like could they require it for citizens but really ignore it for everyone else? Seems like it would be a mess.
I think we're going to see things go back to mask mandates, because the rate we're going, covid is going to make a quick comeback.
I don't think they can require you to show you've been vaccinated, but some places might require you get tested at the door. I heard some are even requiring unvaccinated people to get vaccinated before they can come in, and they're offering the shot right there. It's crazy. But yeah, I see a mandate coming very soon.
To my understanding, they shouldn't be able to ask you to show your card, but they can also decline you service if you decline to show. Since they are privately owned casinos, they could require some kind of proof of vaccination. It is in their right to decline service to whoever they want.
