I always hear about the positive experiences but I want to know about the bad ones, the gross ones, the infuriating ones. You don't have to name the hotels if you don't want to, just same some bad experiences you have had.

One of the worst was when I stayed in a hotel that left dirty sheets on the bed. I always check the bedding. I even bring a portable black light with me. I got into the habit of bringing sheets to hotels I have never been to before as well. It freaks me out that something like that could be overlooked.

I once encountered a dead mouse of some kind under one of the guest dressers in the room. I can't remember the hotel name as I only stayed here for 2 days but it was not on the strip. It was a much smaller hotel, more of a motel. I only stay on the strip now!

For the most part, I haven't had too many issues when it came to hotels in Vegas. I mostly stay at good ones, and have mostly good stories to share. I don't go with any low star accomodations, as they tend to be a lot worse.

My sister went to a hotel in Vegas and she had to deal with bed bugs, but that was years ago and I think the hotel since closed.

This one wasn't about a hotel in Vegas, but it was in Minnesota. I was visiting friends and I ended up staying in a local Holiday Inn. Well, when I got to my room, it was ransacked, nothing left. Thankfully I was just checking in, so the mess was likely made by the last guest and they didn't clean up.

Anyway, they tell me there was a mix-up with the room and that they couldn't give it to me. Ended up waiting there for 2 hours to get my money back so I could go elsewhere. Thankfully, I haven't had those types of issues in Vegas. 🙂
