Does anyone here do any camping in Vegas? I think it'd be a fun thing to do to save a little on cash. That way I can go to the casinos and not worry about paying for a pricey hotel room. Has anyone tried doing this when visiting Vegas?
Red Rock Canyon is an excellent place to camp and hike. There are plenty of geological finds including dinosaur footprints. https://www.redrockcanyonlv.org/
This is something I would never consider just because I don't like the idea of being around snakes and other venomous things! I am sure plenty of people do it and enjoy it, but it is not for me!
I've never considered camping in, or around Vegas, but thinking about it, it sounds like it could be fun. I can see Vegas itself being a great camping destination. Just be careful, as Vegas isn't as safe as traditional camping locations.
Vegas would be great for camping. So many wide open areas to camp in. Of course, I think camping in a cooler location would be better, but I would give it a try one day. 🙂
