Has anyone ever stayed in an Airbnb in the area? Awhile ago, my wife and I wanted to do an extended trip. We figured it would be cheaper to stay in an Airbnb while we were there. It was just something we talked about so I never researched it though. If anyone has stayed in one, I would love to know how it compares to staying in one of the hotels!
No I haven't but it would be a pretty tough sell to get someone to stay at an AirBnB when you can get hotel rooms at an attractive price. Maybe during a show like CES or some big Vegas fight when all of the rooms get booked. Staying at a hotel just has alot more benefits in Las Vegas than other cities because you can go down to a restaurant or Las Vegas buffet from your room. The views are often amazing. There is access to a pool on a hot summer day. If you stay at an AirBnB you would have to commute back and forth to the Las Vegas strip using Uber or a Taxi.
The only time I stayed at one was when I was visiting family in the area. I spent one day in Vegas but the remainder of those 4 days was with family. If I am going to Vegas for Vegas, I will be staying in one of the many hotels.
They almost always cost more and include less. I get the appeal for people but at the same time, it makes more sense to find a deal on the strip at a casino.
