Hi, Could anyone tell me about the safety of the neightborhoods? Should I rent a house or an appartment? Any experiences? Thanks in advance.
This is not something I have ever honestly considered but I do know a few people who did live there for a few years. Green Valley Ranch is considered the best overall area to live in. It is highly rated and the one person I knew who lived there would have stayed had it not been for a job transfer. Westgate is another good area. Both are considered some of the safest and depending on your budget, most affordable.
I would live in Vegas, but I prefer living in quiet place when I'm not out and about. So Vegas for me, probably wouldn't work. But I know many people who live happily in Vegas. The only downside I see, is cost of housing, as I imagine it can be pretty pricey to live in or even near Vegas.
