In terms of hotel costs, when are the prices usually at their lowest? I am still trying to map out my trip here. I want to get the most bang for my buck so I have more spending money to go to shows, do shopping, and do a bit of gambling.
I have been all different times but the cheapest I remember was January. I went near the end of the month and the prices were nuts comparing them to a previous trip. The weather is much colder and this is likely why. I think the average high was only around 55 degrees and it got into the 30s at night. I don't mind being in the cold so I actually enjoyed it. It was not as busy either.
The week before Thanksgiving week was pretty cheap for me. I was able to book rooms at the Rio for $40 a night
Stay away during a holiday, as the prices for hotels will be up there. I always found that going at the beginning of the new year is ideal, but that's just me. There may be a better way to get a deal on your hotel.
