I am planning a trip to Vegas and would love to know what sorts of events or games I can place bets on whilst I am there. Does anyone know if there is a list or site somewhere so I can take a look and see what is going on during my trip?
I think you can bet on pretty much any sport out there. Really, your best bet is to check with any betting agency in the area what sports they support and they should be able to answer you better. I know Football, Horse Racing, Basketball, Baseball, Hockey, etc, pretty much every popular sport you can expect to be covered.
Most people bet on Professional Football, Professional Basketball, UFC, Boxing, and Horse Racing.
Often the betting is seasonal and if there is going to be a fight (Boxing/UFC) in town then the betting volume goes up.
You can bet on any sport be it minor or major. I know a friend who calls in bets every year for different sporting events. I am not sure where you go to do these bets though, trying to figure that out myself.
