The Raiders coach, Jon Gruden resigned from the team after emails of his were leaked, that showed racist stereotypes, homophobia, sexism and more. He resigned when this was brought to light. He probably would have been fired otherwise.
Do you think him leaving will result in the Raiders having a bad season going forward?
Whatever he is/was behind closed doors, he was still a solid coach. I feel like this will likely cost them the season. I wonder if the leak was with the intention of doing just that. You never know with people these days.
I think the team will still do fine. A head coach is important but most of the strategies are laid out at the beginning of the year so for this year things should be fine. I imagine long term it depends on who they bring in.
