I was reading an article the other day that rated the Bellagio at the top in terms of Luxury. I have not stayed here but I almost did on my last trip. It just tends to be on the more expensive side and the rooms I can afford are hard to come by on short notice. What do you think makes this the luxury spot of Las Vegas in terms of hotels?
Go on Google and take a look at their rooms. Even their budget rooms. And then compare them to other hotels. You will see why it is considered this. A friend of mine told me years ago if you ever want to feel like a millionaire, go to Vegas and stay at the Bellagio.
Yeah I have to agree with Maria. Alls you have to do is look at the pictures. I mean this place will make you feel like you are wealthy, even in their cheaper rooms. That is the entire gimmick of the hotel.

I read somewhere they use real gold and things like that in the rooms as well. I am not sure how true this is but it would make sense for them.

But I never actually looked into it. I never stayed at this hotel but always wanted to. Such a shame that the cheap rooms are still expensive ones.
They just offer more in terms of money. They have higher-end everything. I do think that having a movie take place in the hotel casino really boosted their appeal though.
